Hi, I'm 15 and am in TY. My number one course that I want to do is medicine. I have a mathematical brain and my uncle (who is really smart and loaded) told me to choose a career in biomedical physics. What courses in tcd and UCD are related to a career in biomedical physics?

Did a quick search there and found a few courses/information that might be of use to you :)

    http://www.dcu.ie/prospective/deginfo.php?classname=PBM

    http://www.nuigalway.ie/physics/links_medical.html

It seems most of the specific courses to biomedical physics are all Graduate study, so you'd need to study an undergraduate course first. Maybe something like:

Hope I helped some bit! :D

Your uncle won't be doing the course.
Choose what you would like to do.

    Hi,
I'm studying med at the moment. I'm also very like you in the sense that my strongest subjects were maths based. If you have the ability to get into medicine, and want to work in medical anything, no corse compares. The best paying jobs in Biomedical physics will be going to people with a BSc in medicine and a MSc in physics or medical physics. If you're smart, you want to get a degree that will reflect that, because intelligence is the number one characteristic in employability. You can always keep up your interests in maths like I'm doing anyway.
