Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Scott Gimple is to become the new showrunner on The Walking Dead.

Gimple - who has previously written five episodes of the zombie drama - replaces Glen Mazzara, who was dropped from the series in December.

Mazzara himself had previously replaced original showrunner Frank Darabont in the early stages of The Walking Dead's second season.

Gimple will assume the role at the beginning of the fourth season, TVLine reports, with Mazzara's final season three episodes airing from February.

In addition to working on The Walking Dead as a writer and supervising producer, Gimple has also penned episodes of FlashForward and Life and contributed to the screenplay for 2011 film Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.

18 miles out and pretty much dead already were 2 very good episodes in season 2 in fairness, considering it was a poor enough season
