    Hello guys,

i am having a bit of bother with java sometimes not starting randomly on
    machines running windows 7.

i have 40 machines and it happens randomly normally a reboot of the machine
will work and it will load but other times it requires an reinstall
i'm not sure if this is a local issue or network (a proxy is required)

the strange thing is i have managed to get java ver 6 update 24 to work
perfectly only with ie8 so this is at least a temporary fix.

but surely i should be able to get the latest version of java running fine with ie9.

has anyone come across this kind of stuff
i am at a complete loss here.

You may be ahead of this, but have you cleared out the temp folders in the java console? Under the general tab. Some virus's are targeting that folder.
