Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Turn your HD television into a smart TV?

Technological dead-end. Probably no way to upgrade the firmware so would be obsolete before long. Best way to get SmartTV functionality without buying a new TV is to buy a cheap Samsung or Sony Blu-Ray player. Make sure that it's at least a 2012 model.

I can only get my dlna connectivity working when connecting a phone or laptop to the smart tv (samsung), when the tv is set up to work as a soft access point. All devices can correct to the lan but cannot see each other. The router has been reset and I've tried removing any firewall settings that would prevent devices discovering one another. There is very little support for customers, and all the guides I see on the net just tell me how to set up the easy stuff, when everything works first time!!
