Gasworks Carpark planning approved

Just wondering if anyone had any up to date info on this. It was announced last year that 350 spaces were to be made available. Ive since heard that the Port of Waterford Company have objected ( competetion for their carpark i suppose). Any recent info.

Does anybody know whats happening with this project? there's no bridge in place and all development seems to have stalled except for the very slow flood relief works.

(sorry to drag up an old thread I couldn't find a more recent one directly relating to the project)
