Best City centre venue for surprise party?

Hi there, I'm looking for some advice on where would be the best venue in the city centre to have a surprise 30th - I'm willing to go a little out to Ranelagh/Rathmines direction if needs be. Ideally I would like an area reserved rather than a private room with food platters for about 20-30 people. Thanks in advance! :)
