Van Ginkel having his best game do far.

    Wallace so unlucky, great engine.

I suppose if that was the case we'd have to, at a push. :pac:

Hazard had a quiet (by his standards) first two games in this pre season but he's been electric tonight. As always when he is in this form, a joy to watch.

I agree with Gav and Rich, bar Messi (and even then I'd seriously have to think about it) I wouldn't swap him for anyone. Just imagine if he had ended up at Man City or Man Utd.

That was one of the best things about winnign the UCL, it meant Hazard considered us and then we offered him mental money to ensure his signature.

Despite it being a huge cost the guy's potential ability is crazy when you think of how good he is currently and hes only 22.

Technically hes gifted and his vision is top notch.

I loved that he said Jose would make him a better player and to be more clinical, thats frightening for the rest of England and Europe, a Hazard that combines more goals and assists to an already bursting locker of tricks and talent.

Difficult not to compare Lukaku to a certain Drogba.
Such power and pace, he can just brush defenders aside.

    5-0

    Great goal by Traore!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,527 ✭✭✭RichT

    6-0

    Lukaku!

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Cracking goal, Hazard's pass, Ivanovic( i think)picking out Traore and his finish was curled into the corner.

Goal! F*** it, I've a serious man crush for Hazard, bloody brilliant. Fine header by Lukaku.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,527 ✭✭✭RichT

Schwarzer, Ianovic, Kalas Lukaku, Essien, Cole, Traroe, all on for 2nd half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,527 ✭✭✭RichT

    7-0

    rameries from 20 yards!

7-0 Ramires scores again. Tough not to get excited.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

The more games Lukaku gets, the more I think we dont really need Rooney.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,527 ✭✭✭RichT

Josh, Piazon and Feruz on now

I woudlnt get carried away, a harder test awaits in America agaisnt better teams.

This leg, while mainly about PR for our Asian sponsors, is all about fitness for the squad.

    8-0

    Lukaku! (pull back by Piazon)

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

That loan really worked out for Lukaku, he's looking monstrous. 8-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

It's hard to believe Lukaku is 20! He is going to be world class.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

    Lukaku > Drogba.

    /Runs

Although in all seriousness he could be an absolute bull for us upfront next season.

    8-1? Mourinho OUT!

Absolutely, but it's great to see the likes of De Bruyne, Lukaku, Schurrle and Van Ginkel add to the likes of Hazard and Ramires. Then there's Mata, Oscar and Torres to come back too.

He is, hes got everything you want from a CF really.

While hes green to the UCL he'll be able for the EPL.

Great performance there, some good football played... Lukaku looking the part completely and Traore impressing again. Thought Ess looked pretty decent too, only negative was thought Kalas looked poor.

Thats good should have 6 points in the bag going to ManU if they dont win at Swansea (and not that easy a place to go) could be a little pressure on Moyes excellent.

    methane sinks

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,603 ✭✭✭grumpymunster

Methane ain't the problem (odourless ) its the sulphides you need to worry about. Also you need to take into account methane is lighter than air the probable temperature being higher than air but more importantly the rate of flow more so if Guinness and curry are added to the equation. Also don't forget Boyle tells us a gas will expand to fill a space or container so........................

I want the bed by the window :-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Could be sorting out tickets for the Villa game soon, the Villa supporting buddy has a Chelsea supporting mate who could be offering up 2 ST's for the game.

It's been a long long close season.

It look's like our business is done.

And it is more interesting than Cesc, Rooney and Suarez.

Now anyone got any info on the velocity or is that directly linked to the pressure build up depending upon quantity of Guinness drank and curry's eaten?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

I wouldnt be surprsied to see us sign another player although I reckon it hinges on what Utd do regarding Cesc, if they get him I reckon Rooney will be shipped out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Last year we scored 56% of our home goals at home in the 1st half, whcih was the best in the league, onthe flip side 44% in the 2nd half is the worse in the league.

At home we let in as many in the 1st half as we did in the 2nd half, 50/50.
