I've just read the whole thread and was surprised by the lack of an outcome yet. The way that the Manager is dragging this on for so long is not acceptable at all IMO. Organising a meeting when you know you'll be on annual leave is ridiculous.

Yes, the OP may have had a very minor transgression which they apologised for, but the length of time taken by the employer to sort this out is way too long.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.
You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.
Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles to avoid the DRS fee.
