Looks like showers will pick up for the east after midnight and early tomorrow.

Downgrades the precip in the southwest like HIRLAM did. Nothin is ever easy in Ireland!

do you have the link? thanks

Light snow earlier in Aylesbury, Tallaght & didnt stay much!

    At about 2/2:30?
In was in Parkwood trying to work on my car at the time, that was bloody heavy for a good few minutes.

    All melted fairly quickly though.

Showing quite a few showers for down here in Wexford tonight and overnight, But it's also showing showers here for now when there is none so not holding out much hope.

It looks like those showers might be picking up east of you now. Don;t know if they'll make it ashore though.

The dark blue is very light stuff though, drizzle/snizzle. It's still only a model of course, it's not going to nail every shower, just gives a rough idea.

Was up in Wicklow for the day, got up to about 2'000ft. Snow was knee deep at that stage, with deeper drifts.

Dont have much time now so will just post oblig proof of snow pic! :)

I'm SW of Mallow at about 615ft ASL, I think anywhere north of here should see accumulations... if all goes to plan of course :)

didnt think id be saying this but id nearly take a breakdown at this stage cause this misty murky calm weather is nonsense, maybe a good storm is in order and then hopefully some proper cold weather to set in after, that would be ideal

Snowing in county monaghan at the mo & fields covered in a blanket of white, the intensity at which the snow is falling inreases the futher north we go! Have been in a sunny west, dull east & now snowy north all in one day! Can't wait to see what its like at home!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,789 ✭✭✭BEASTERLY

Oh no, the snizzle has followed me home. Snizzling in Wexford this morning, Snizzling in Wicklow all day, and now snizzling in Wexford again. Snow for real, or go away!
