Just by watching the radar really, very hard to predict where.

Yeah I recall watching them on the Radar in 2010, seemed to feed in from the Irish sea onto the east coast

Tiny amount of drizzle in D4. Stuck my arm out the window and caught a rogue snowflake but it melted on my hand before I could take a picture. At this rate I will have to go to work tomorrow :(

Looks like waterford will miss out, few clouds about but nothing happening. Real pity as the ground is bone dry

Just looking at the the latest NAE and GFS and I reckon Cork city's big problem will be lack of precipitation. Its mostly going south of us. IF there is precipitation around 3 to 8am we will get snow though looking at the uppers, dew points etc. That actually tallies with what ME and the NAE are saying. On balance I'd expect about 2cm in Cork suburbs by the morning, but no more.

We were supposed to get some later and if we can't get it in this set up we'll never get it, and after Thursday it's mild all the way and we'll have to wait till next winter.

Right now is anyone actually getting snow or is it just a snow watch for part for parts of Cork, Limerick and parts of the east coast?

Gone really cold here in Limerick, if I had a pedometer on me today it'd register a couple of miles from walking over and back from the window to the door! Hurry up snow ... I'm exhaused!!

The new word for 2013 is 'Snizzle'

Dew point has increased to 0c as well, 2.2c in the city so not great prospects for light stuff to stick around. Anway radar not promising. Best we can hope for is a Ninja attack in the early morning :p

    New Ross??

We had a sleet/ graupel/ flurry in New Ross for all of about 3 minutes. Hard to tell it all happened so fast but did turn the roof of the car white.

But the graphic on the top of my accuweather app is finally showing snowflakes. Happy days. :D
