Surely Louth and that is seeing moderate snowfall at this rate??

Further south, meh, the precip is too light to produce anything other than snizzly sleet, snow grains or very light small snowflakes.

Will give it another while to try really intensify, but the Irish sea just isn't functioning like we know it can tbh.

Fingers crossed for Ye all. As I'm in the leeway of the Wicklow mountains, I can safely write off anything for my location other than the laughable sleety stuff currently falling. So good luck to you all. :D

Sidenote; I know it's not the place, but gbee, if you're reading this, please reconsider closing your account. Another good poster bites the dust. :(

Pretty good I'd say, one of the better spots in the SW. Is it not snowing there already?

It was under precip at 10pm, not at 9pm. Probably the reason.

South Armagh had graupel showers much of the day 0.5C, melting a bit but lying and driving becoming problematic, 12km east at Dundalk it is just a damp evening.

I like this for precip forecast, based on GFS data, put together by UCD school of mathematical science.

For Dubliners/Wicklow sake I hope the met.E radar just dropped abit at 22:15, or else the front is decaying and isn't strong enough to push inland at all.

Really tragic stuff the lack of intensifing, I'll have to have stern words with the sea later.

The night is young...ish. Let's see what the wee morning hours bring.

A sleety graupel mix in Waterford City. Temps very marginal but not too far away from turning anything that falls to snow. Currently Temp 2.2c, DP 0.4c

Ye see! Reverse Psychology works! Tell boards all day long that you are resigned to getting nothing for valid geographical reasons.....

    [Mother Nature]I'll show him!![/Mother Nature]

Boom!! Blow torch streamer aimed directly at Bray from just below Anglesey of all places

    :D
