Snowing heavily again in blanch and castle knock, dublin 15..

Well I work out that direction so I'll be sure to drive all over any untouched patches I can find :pac:

As a kid (and still!) I used to hate watching the lovely unspoilt fresh snow being ruined by cars and people walking in it!

I'm only 5 minutes from the airport and I don't believe there's no snow there considering what's coming down here.

Rain being reported at 0700 http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/EIDW.html

snow getting heavy in naas and sticking to ground

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,129 ✭✭✭Ms2011

D22 has a covering of snow.
If it snowed well now it would stick but if it goes much longer the bit of snow that's there will melt & that will be game over for anymore snow sticking!!

Its mostly a mix of sleet and graupel with a few light flakes of snow in Blanch. Don't let that stuff lying on the ground fool you into thinking its actually real heavy sticky snow! :)

If I could be arsed I'd go out and take a photo but I'm right on the Meath border and it's fluffy and light enough here, it's not the horrible wet stuff.
