Snowing in Carnaross, Meath. Cars covered and starting to stick to grass but the roads and paths are to wet,

Been snowing here all morning. Temp +0.7c. I'd say I'm just over the snow line. 3 inches on the patio table. Lots of slush on the roads.

Well made it to work in Dublin, with a token amount of snow still on car. R755 hadn't been ploughed or treated when I was last on it, but passable. Last report I had it was still snowing at home. It wasn't that cold though - only around freezing (car was going between -0.5 and +1) so I'm not massively confident it'll still be there when I bail early.

Longford snow is at 150ft above sea level

I expect DPs for Dublin to fall 1-2c by 3pm as some cold air pushes in from Britain,

Areas north of Balbriggan now favoured most this evening.

For all that won't see snow today just look across the Irish Sea.

They have got 6 inches of snow so far in the Valleys in Wales. With another 6 inches due to arrive in the next few hours.

Live coverage is on the BBC, so at least you might see some falling

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21073373

Seen that alright on the BBC Breakfast News. During the live reports in some of the affected areas, the snow looked very slushy and wet. Very low grade stuff but plenty of it.

You must pray to Jesus and ask him, only He can pass on this information.

Why is it shocking? Because it isn't showing snow for next week? I guess it must still be showing a quick breakdown otherwise there would be people here cheering it to the rafters.

It's the same consistent theme. Milder by Tuesday/Wednesday.
