    Snowing away still here :)
10-15cm drifting to a bit more in places.
Snow as taken down our telephone and esb wires, esb wire went of fire then for a good show so no power for maybe 24 hours.
    Gotta love the snow :)

WTF? ROFL. Please explain how the electrical wires outside go on fire. :D

Macroom is reading a road and air temp below freezing.
Those showers could well fall as snow as they head southeast!!!!

Not likely IMO, temp will rise as cloud moves in.

He's in Cavan, I looked through his previous posts.

It's rain rain rain all over Dublin, including the higher suburbs. I'd say the snowline is about 400m at the moment in the mountains.

Some flood water around, the river beside my house is flooding near by fields.
    Now it's time for snow.
Think in 1982 there was flooding before the snow. Should be an interesting few days ahead and if it starts to freeze to nite then god help anyone who has to drive in the morning.

A bit late for that I'd say, they should have a driving license from the local authority.

It looks more like snow already but turning to sleet. Odd that given the time of night.

I'm close to Dundrum, debatably a higher suburb? idk, but anyways. STILL raining here, feels slightly warmer than it did a few hours ago but maybe thats just me. Hoping for the snow overnight, fingers crossed :) Though I wont be disappointed if it doesnt happen because Ive gotten use to disappointment with regards snow in this country

no, it not just you, its 4.1c at the moment on this side of town.
I just can't get my head around the fact that it's 2.8c out at sea compared to my reading?

DP steady at 2.5 and Temp 3.1 at the moment here in Waterford City.
No sign of precip but it'd be rain if it does turn up.

I called in the heavens to blast the Isle of Man back in 2011 (I think?) It was snowing EVERYWHERE on the East coast except Bray. On the precipitation radar you could see a constant flow of snow showers everywhere except a narrow band spanning about 1 mile north and south of Bray.
