Why you're getting sleet/snow there. Only getting rain, bits of sleet and some hail in Dundalk this evening.

    M2 buoy 2am DP -0.8

Height always helps when it comes to snow, especially when conditions are marginal for it. Louth, Meath and parts of Down appear to be getting the last of the precipitation coming in off the Irish Sea according to the Met Eireann radar.

Thats going to hit Dublin shortly and could set the scene for ongoing showers in during the day from the same birthing ground.
This could be Dublins streamer heaven day.

Not hopefull of much at all south of Greystones and the advancing overspill of cloud from the south should finish off any precip possibilities today altogether here.

If it comes, it will be graupel, but does not look like making it to Dublin. Might just be a few light bits.
