Snow is exploding on radar over western England/Wales- Will it make it to our east coast? Or at least pep up activity in the Irish sea? Mmmm

    Dan :)

Mmmm...........that is a very valid point Blizzard, I am looking at the rain radar now and there is a fair amount of precipitation heading to the Liverpool/North Wales area. Wonder if it can then link up with the Irish Sea to bring some snow streamers across to Leinster?

We're only four miles away and have 10cm since Friday.
Good few heavy snow showers thismorning. Snowing right now.
    Funny wee country

Parts have already made it unto the Irish sea. The streamers coming across the Irish sea look nice for dundalk.

Could do with a heavy dumping if snow.

This event has been great, learned alot about how cold mixes with warm over a small land mass with plenty of warmth around.

London looks like its taking a hammering. Might be flying there next week, weather permitting.

From radar looks like a lot of Dublin is in an 'Anglesea shadow' with regards to streamers, is that possible?

  • Registered Users Posts: 864 ✭✭✭jack01986

I was full sure we'd get some tonight or tomorrow but unfortunately I think it will miss us from the west and east, not even the snow want's to come to Waterford.:mad::mad:

With a south east wind the sea track is shorter so its harder for streamers to intensify.. also the Dublin Wicklow mountains will soak up most of it... we need that wind to go north easterly and bingo...
