Xbox360 - Anything like Freespace 2?

    Hi folks

    As per the title, is there anything available on the 360 that would be in the same vein as Freespace 2/Starlancer type stuff? Large scale 1st person space opera & battles....

    There's Project Sylpheed but it's horribly flawed with a ridiculous difficulty curve and the typical Square Enix 'christ all mighty, who wrote this ****!' story.

    There's nothing available on any platform which is in the same league as Freespace 2 unfortunately. :(

    Looks somewhat interesting alright, seems very 'arcadey' for want of a better word though. I'm looking for something a bit darker, colder & well, you know the type. Starlancer was prob the last game I played that came close.

    Definitely the pinnacle of the space combat genre. Absolutely fantastic game.

    Also, one of the best examples of what's fantastic about the pc. The mods that are still being released make the game still incredibly playable today, with some really good graphics.

    The Colony Wars games on the PS1 were a good throw at large scale space combat too from what I remember. Its a pity there's so little of them around today, its a genre I used to love

    There are a few coming out in the next 1-2 years (Elite, Star Citizen etc...), but not on the 360.

    That actually looks pretty interesting too, heavy Freelancer elements in it too. Will check that out cheers
