Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My JB was due to end sometime this month. I've been to the post office this morning and I got payed for 1 day. Im guessing its ended. What was wrong with letting me know, by letter? Instead of standing at the post office and thats how they let you know.

The only way I knew my JB was ending this month was because they sent me a form for JA in November telling me my JB was to end soon.

Why cant they let me know what the process is? What now?

Do I go to the social welfare office, queue up, query where 5 days went, and then be told that the JB ended.

Or do I avoid the queues at the dole office and do I go to the CWO and apply for the supplementary welfare allowance? That office isnt open until next week. Do I get back pay?

Did you fill in and return the JSA forms?

Yes you can go to your local CWO and yes you will get back money when you JSA claim is approved.

I filled in the forms online. Nothing to it. They definately got them too as some guy from social welfare called to the house for an interview thing and he had my filled in form printed off.

So basically, I just have to wait. Do I need anything from the dole office for the supplementary welfare allowance? Like a letter to say i've applied for JA. Or is that too easy? Why cant they tell us?

The CWO will be able to view the status of your JSA claim.I think you will have to fill in more forms, but you should get sorted pretty quick.ie one visit.
