Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Search amazon and you'll get 32gb from reputable brands for under €20, much better price per GB.

    8GB for €4.99 on Play.com (class 4, admittedly, but a reputable brand...)

    Or ebay.

I'd be less inclined to trust ebay, have received a fake before. But with some research into a trustworthy seller, no reason why not.

Likewise, I got a fake on ebay as well. I think it claimed to be class 6, yet the Sandisk class 4 I had already had far better speeds. The seller had good feedback and everything. I'd buy almost anything on Ebay, but for memory cards like this which are so cheap on Amazon, Memoryc etc. I would stay off Ebay.

I got a 4gb SDHC in easons O'Connell Street last Saturday, upstairs on a stand for the queue for the checkout. €3.99 Duracell, pretty good in imo. Otherwise another place I have come accross is memorycards.ie have a 16gb Sandisk for €12 something that I am looking to get also. I know they are only class 4 but I am sure they will be fine for a phone and a tablet.

you'd havw to be nuts to buy a memory card off ebay, even from a'trusted' seller.

i got a sandisk card from a platinum powerseller which turned out to be a knock off and neither sandisk nor ebay or paypal were interested in doing anything other than getting the seller to give me a refund.

the seller claimed it must have been a single dodgy card in a batch from his own 'reputable' supplier but nobody other than me gave a crap about the fact he was passing off dodgy cards as genuine, so i haven't gone anywhere near ebay for memory cards ever since.

Whats the difference between the different classes. I need to get a micro sd for my phone... What would be suitable for storing the likes of music, pics (typical media) and apps

The class relates to the transfer speed, it wouldn't be critical for your phone to have one of the lower speeds
