    I am trying to sign up for daily text alerts to number 78070 in the uk ,my phone will not let me send to this number ,any one got a clue,thanks

    do you have an irish mobile? if you do then this is likely why. its possible there is no agreement between your provider and the text alert provider and so you cant signup because they cant bill you.
