Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As far as I know writing a thesis is classed the same as being at collage ie you cant claim.Casual jsb,you need to have a stamp record for this http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/social_welfare_payments/unemployed_people/jobseekers_benefit.html you also must be able to show a substantial reduction in work (hours/days)in order to qualify.

Tell her to go to her sw office and apply for casual jobseekers and have a letter from the institution stating that she now only has to write up her thesis with the date of submission. In cases like these jobseekers may be paid out it would depend on the circumstances and the deciding officers decision. If she is only available for part time work then she would not qualify as you need to be available to take up full time work.
