People using "big words" in the wrong context.

You mean like "Hence"? Because nobody uses that one correctly.

They think they can drop it in place of "Therefore" or "Thus" and it'll be alright.

England; are based here so it's effectively their home fcuking ground and they've slung up a banner, outside in Anglican red font on white that says THE BRITISH ISLES' Bowling Tournament and it appears like they're flaunting it and am concerned they are gona draw the wrong kind of attention..........

Blokes with eyes don’t fit in their head properly.
A few lads in work look like their eyes don’t fit properly, as if the eye balls are too big for the sockets.
It makes their face look like there are two boiled eggs being pushed through the necks of bottles.
Very disconcerting, makes it difficult to have conversations.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,815 ✭✭✭SimonTemplar

The use of multiple question marks or exclamation marks in emails, usually by low level managers who have no clue how to communicate professionally.

    "The report looks wrong???????????"

"I'm not happy with those figures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

If I see that nonsense in an email, I usually put it to the bottom of my list.

Related, when Irish media tries to claim things like the G8 meeting and various sporting events as Irish when they are quite clearly British.

I work in a small office, with no radio....so it's very quiet.....there is this oul one I work beside, who does nothing all day, and takes/receives personal calls all day...not only do I have to firstly listen to her infuriating mundane personal conversations for 10 minutes at a time while I'm trying to work, once she finishes the call, she'll turn to another colleague and tell HER the whole story of the call, EVEN THOUGH WE WERE ALREADY FORCED TO HEAR IT you f*cking c**t. Every f*cking day, without fail. Argh. I don't mind the odd chat during work but this is ridiculous.
