Good place to play gigs

    Hello,

    Where are good venues to try to get gigs for a two/three peice accustic group? We do fairly low key country (Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark), Folk (Richard Thompson, Pentangle) and americana (Neil Young, Bonnie Prince Billie). I've just moved up from Cork (well a few months ago but still just settling in really). The kind of gigs we would do in Cork were generally music type pub gigs (as in pubs where the atmosphere would be more into music say than lots of tvs showing football etc) listening type venue gigs, folks clubs etc. Where would be good places to call in and have a chat about playing?
