We have a 4 month old retriever and a 3 year old one, we need to head away for a weekend in two months, is it ok for a 6 month old to go to a kennel or is she too young, she will be with the older fella.

A lot of kennels wont accept dogs under 6mths, but as she will be 6mths, with all her vaccinations done and kept in with your other dog, she will be fine.

She'll be absolutely fine. Start looking for your kennel now to make sure you're happy with it (If you don't have one already in mind of course!). When you've chosen maybe bring her up for a few hours if you can so she realises you'll be back to collect her.

Ya we have our usual kennel in Newmarket, they are very good over there, I don't she will mind us going, it's the bigger fella she whines after if they are apart.
