Be on the watch for this. My side gate was open when i came home from work during the week and found out this evening that neighbour across the way had their tank emptied that day. Have heard a few other reports as well.

Been happening for a while, customer of mine was repeatedly hit. They usually leave a small amount so you don't notice straight away to try and reduce how quickly the Guards get called.

If your tank is at risk of being drained/robbed, an oil monitor like this which alerts you to sudden drops in level may be worth thinking about.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles to avoid the DRS fee.
