I am a massive hipster, as are most of my friends. We're generally fine with it.

none of us are young enough for the lens-less glasses and pointy shoes though.

the fact that you conform to being a hipster means you arnt one :D

Like I said, old hipster. The fact that the definition of hipster moved on isn't the point.

I am a bisexual tattoo artist with an arts degree who only wears black. I could tell myself I am not a hipster, but I would be lying to myself.

btw I'm looking for a Unicorn tat on my chest. How much? It has to have blood coming out of it's arse is the only stipulation.

A hipster isn't one who does not conform.
A hipster is one who conforms through wearing the conformist uniform of the non conformist.

A bit like a goth but with a quieter smugitude and less desperation.

Am I the only one who only see's a hipster once in a blue moon...?
Where are you people seeing them all?
    I must be getting old.
Back in my day it was all about goths and rockers...and the very early stages of emos too I guess.

But isn't being a hipster just doing/being into particular stuff in order to look cool rather than genuinely being into it?

Hipsters don't exist. They are just the natural evolution of the humble weirdo

well, on some levels yes. I got this heavily tattooed because it looks cool. The rest is effortless :)
