Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 886 ✭✭✭witnessrenegade

2 chances and 2 goals, Norwich haven't played that bad really. It's make a nice change from 20 chances and no goals.

Who's that new number 14 in the Liverpool midfield? Looks an absolute quality player.

Amazing what a bit of confidence does.
Maybe hes not Englands U21 captain for nothing.

Glen-jo is being a bit wasteful today.

So who got the assist for that goal?

I would give it to the Stugdemeister !

    Slightly mistimed by Rampage Johnson.

BBC saying it is Lucas. But it would be nice if it was Sturridge :)

He's getting a hell of alot of space though if we can get more attacks around him...

Co-commentator on Setanta reckons we haven't really had a problem scoring goals in recent years. Wouldn't agree with that!

He must have been on the sauce before doing the co commentary .

Great first half. Sturridge has improved the team so much.

He's been great in all three games so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

Nice work again from the front too. Lads we are going to do well if those two play together.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,629 ✭✭✭googled eyes

Sturridge and Suarez are gonna be glorious to watch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,734 ✭✭✭Fowler87

Very good half of football. Bit of added spark up front now. Suarez could easily hit 25 goals by the end of the season

    Who is he?

He makes Paddy Crerand and Phil Thompson sound neutral.

    Excellent to a man.
    Suarez has been mindblowing.

Great to see Hendo get a goal and a great goal at that.

    More of the same please.

Our midfield is looking very good today lets hope Henderson is now given a proper run of games to show what he is all about .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,724 ✭✭✭Cartman78

Norwich showing very little ambition so far.

Liverpool playing reasonably well, should be a stroll from here.

Very very encouraging signs from Suarez\Sturridge partnership

Before we get carried away, we are only playing Norwich, who seem to have a brain.fart when.they play liverpool. Just to try keep a sense of persepctive. It is good to finally see us beating the so called weaker teams on a regular basis though

We're gonna win the league, we're gonna win the league!

    2013 is our year lads.

Lots of silly mistakes being made at the back but thankfully Norwich don't have the ability/belief to punish us. However, some lovely play going forward and highlights that the more quality Luis is surrounded by, the more we will get out of him.

Norwich beat united 1-0, were beating norwich 2-0 at half time.

    Our year

Yeh I mean people call him selfish but being greedy for goals is no bad thing if it means he is making those runs for the near/far posts and as you said looking for spilt balls, all things that bar Suarez nobody in our team has been doing.

Sneijder is coming. He's 86 in FIFA like.

"Lots of silly mistakes" is seriously overstating it.

THe only really worrying instance was the total lack of marking for that early free kick where it was headed straight at Jones.

    G'wan so.

    OUR YEAR!!!

    That's more like it.

In all seriousness though games against the likes of Arsenal are the ones to judge if we are making progress or not, games like this should be enjoyed no matter where the opposition are in the table.

The only worry I have about our defence would be Brad Jones . If we keep going the way we started he shouldn't have too much to do .

Suarez just kissed his wrist as he walked on the pitch for the second half.

    Constantly taunting Mansfield fans.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,038 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

I put a fiver on Norwich and the draw at 22/1. Might ease the pain a bit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Joke of a free that tbh. Great tackle from Wisdom.

I have no idea. Setanta are always having Liverpool fan co-commenting on Liverpool games though. can be a bit annoying to b honest as I prefer unbiased people doing the job.
