I saw your man from last year in Ikea two weeks ago - think he was an event planner or something, he was the fella who was mad into supporting rugby (Leinster?), he got into running during the program.

    He's kept the weight off.

    That's good to hear.

There is a huge difference between losing weight (especially when you on a TV Show) and keeping it off.

Yeah I'd be feeling kinda awkward if they played at a party I was at

Collins hasn't a hope. Roy Jones is still boxing. Collins hasn't had a fight in 16 years.

And he was one of the biggest "sob" stories last year.My heart broke for him. He really was a broken spirit. At the end of the season last year you could see such a difference in him. I think the confidence to go back training was the breaking point for him. Delighted to hear he's keeping it off..

Kayleigh from Limerick, is doing very well too, she was signed by some model agency recently.

He was a great fighter back in the day, but Boxing is not a Sport to be messing around in decades after your best. Especially with someone like Roy Jones Jnr.

I'm very nervous for Collins :( I don't think this is a wise move, could he not have gotten work on TV or something.

Steve Collins looks great for a 47 year old man.

Does he look great for a world class boxer? I don't think so... :o

I always thought that Collins first wife, Gemma was beautiful. I lost a lot of time for him when I read this.

Maybe Hunky Dory's might sponsor it and they'll have the fight in Dublin? Winner gets a lifetime supply of crisps.........

Is there a second wife MrsD?

Don't know boxing at all. Getting the feeling that this could be for money?? I don't know who he is going up against. Am I on the right track?

Steve was the best we ever had, imo. He was in with the best and none of them wanted to get in a second time with him.

He is well able to talk, he would do well on a Reality Show.

He should try Strictly or The Jungle or Celeb Big Brother.

I remember Jimmy Magee commentating on a fight in The Point a while back, sponsored by those Crisp people. There was a knockdown and Jimmy said " He went straight down, and landed on the H in Hunky Dorys"

I'd say Jimmy had a few big boxes of Crisps sent to his house very soon afterwards!

It would be safer for a start.

They were the two best fighters in the World back in the early 90s, but they never fought. Collins says Jones was too chicken to fight him.

Collins hasn't fought since 1997 but Jones has been fighting a lot since then. You would think Jones would win a fight between them now.

I would be surprised if they weren't doing it for the money, although hopefully it never happens.

I would love to see how they choose who goes on the Reality Shows. There must be huge canvassing from Showbiz Agents. It can make a huge revival to a lot of Celebrity careers to get on those shows.

Amazing how fast it has spread. Fair play to him.

But what the heck is up with that accent

It must be an RTE directive. They're all at it. Maid Marian has started saying "lodda" and " Godda" a lot lately. "I've godda go to an ad break." "I've godda lodda gueats on today."

bah, I really like Stewart Lee but I don't have Channel 5.

That Meryl Street movie you mentioned that was meant to be on BBC2 hasn't been shown. The Snooker has overrun by hours.
