Hi, does anybody know somewhere in Ireland I can go for a nerve conduction test? I need this done as quickly as possible so a private place would be best. (private as in I'm willing to pay more, not as in send me down a dark alley way).

    Thanks for your help,
    Claire

http://www.stvincents.ie/Departments/Clinical_Neurophysiology.htm Vincents seem to do them as do the Bons in Galway
http://www.bonsecours.ie/index.cfm/page/galway-neurophysiology found both of those through google so you might be as well google for places nearest to you.

You'll need a referral from a GP anyway, so they'll be able to tell you where you can get it done.

I recently had nerve conduction tests in Tallaght hospital. Paid to go private, but I still had quite a long wait for appointment.

Dr. Michael Alexander was the name of the neurophysiologist.

    Good luck.

(And yes, you will need a GP referral)

    Have used
    Dr Brian Mcnamara
    Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist
    CUH Consultants Private Clinic
    Bishopstown Road Cork - 021 4941820

He helped diagnose my condition a number of years ago
This was a referral from another consultant

    Hope this helps
