Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a bare BMW E28 body shell that I want restored to a high quality finish. It probably needs the underside media blasted ,2 sill repairs where they meet the A pillar , 1 rear quarter wheel arch needs replacing , maybe 5 other small sections needs rust cutting out with replacement cuts from a donor car welding in. Then reseal the floor area and apply stone chip.
Finally I want a top quality spray job of the complete car including boot and engine bay.
I'd like to get it done to the standard of the work in the link below. All the bits he did on that need doing on mine plus a bit more.
    http://retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=119596&page=14
If anyone has any experience of anyone who does work to that standard I'd like to hear from them .
    Thanks.

I highly recommend Alex at the classic car center.

    http://www.classiccarcentre.ie/

He did my Fulvia and is incredibly fussy.

Would second Jon Miller - incredible quality. His prices would probably be at the top end, depending on what standard you want.

Oddly enough I was down there this lunchtime talking to him about a project and I saw the Landcruiser he is working on. Some job.

He is calling by my place to have a look and give me a quote.

I couldn't recommend him highly enough but again he is on the high end of the price scale.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

They done nice welding work on a few of my cars and I am very fussy about workmanship.
