    All I heard there was an accident where Dunnes was and Gardai are carrying out an investigation there.

    It was a VW Golf that knocked down, I think, an elderly lady, as at the scene there was one of those trolleys with wheels that some old women have, lying on its side in front of the Golf. Injuries must have been serious as the scene was still sealed off at midnight.

    Late news last night said a woman in her 70's have been knocked down and was in hospital with serious injuries.
