Liverpools last 6 home games, not sure I'd be opposing them. Maybe Liverpool clean sheet or to win to nil.

    Nor 5-0
    Sun 3-0
    Ful 4-0
    Avl 1-3
    Sou 1-0
    Wig 3-0

Hardly big teams though. You'd expect a team trying to be a top six team to be beating that list of teams easily enough.

For better or worse, I've backed West Brom +1....

gone for the gerrard wincast at 23/10 as i think thats value compared

If you have a PP account they have the suarez wincast enhanced to 5/4.

typical, went straight to the footie and missed the front page
shows up in the market at 10/11 but its all you get
unless you go looking for the enhanced price which
    is ridiculous

I know Liverpool are at home, good form etc but west Brom are only trailing them by one point in the league

Ok seeing as how nobody gave me any reasons not to back west Brom ;) , I'm gonna put €30 on them at 8.5.

It's not a make or break amount for me, I was considering going a lot more but I realise I'd only be looking at the big odds, not a good way to bet!

Not much i fancy tonight. Think Manisaspor 4/9 could be my bet. Might try double it with something http://int.soccerway.com/matches/2013/02/11/turkey/1-lig/manisaspor/mke-ankaragucu/1342426/

    Doubling with Maccabi dnb 3/10
4-0 and 4-0...if only every bet was so easy :D

Just a post to log my bet for tonight.

Posting from phone on way to Hertha game :)

    Double

    Cork City
    Hertha vs Union BTTS

    GL all.

    BOOM :D

Unless Cork throw away a 3-0 lead but doubt it.

    Setanta Cup
    Cork v Cliftonville
    Cork 5/4
Fancy Cork here, Cliftonville top of the league play second place Crusaders in the north belfast derby at the weekend. With that in mind Cliftonville will play a weakened team tonight. Cliftonville last won the League in 1997–98

Boss Tommy Breslin has one goal in mind when it comes to this evening's Setanta Sports Cup First Round clash
with Cork City - to keep the tie alive ahead of next week's return meeting at Solitude.
Cliftonville make the long journey south to Turners Cross today for a First Leg match which Breslin admits has arrived
at a tricky stage of the season.
"When we get to this time of year, you have to take stock of where your priorities lie and this game against Cork comes
right in the middle of a busy run of League and Cup matches for us," he explains.
"I'll be making full use of the squad for this First Leg tie and we'll be using players with first-team experience but, with
so many important games coming up domestically, it's important we get the balance right.
"Had the fixture been at Solitude, maybe our line-up would have been different but we'll be sending out a team which
we believe is capable of getting a result, keeping the tie alive and giving us a chance to make progress when Cork
come up to Belfast next Monday."

Celtic v Juve double result at home at 10/11, with a small wager on the Celts to win at 7to2. Celtic have a great home record in the Champions League, have only ever lost one home tie in the CL. Hail hail.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,707 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

hmm I dont know how celtic will play tomorrow? In away legs up to this game they have been very defensive and that always results in corner bets coming in but will they be defensive at home and nick a goal in Italy?

As a betting proposition I'd go with Celtic double result, as a fan obviously I'll be hoping they win.

There could be bookings alright. Wanyama might get booked, he was suspended for the last day v Spartak.

2/1 with Skybet. Just had a look on Soccerway he has been booked in 4 of their 8 games in Europe where as Brown has been booked 2 times and is 10/11 no brainer where the value is.

    Edit: 10 games forgot HJK.

    My bet for tomorrow

The last meeting ended 3-1 Hartlepool

    1MDrouB.png

Its a must win for both teams and since Pompey can barely train, while Hartlepool are starting to get on a run of decent results, looks a good bet to me

By right I should just go for the outright win for Hartlepool but im being greedy. I hope it doesnt come back and bite me in the ass

I just got on big again Liverpool to finish 7th - 10th at a whopping 1/1. Theyl be doing very well to finish 7th now. Especially that there out of everything and have to focus on the Europa and all that travel!
Betvictor still 1/1 after the result tonight:eek:

Valencia 100/1 and Malaga 66/1 are both very overpriced in the outright market. Good trading opportunities here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,101 ✭✭✭AidySevenfold

I'm a Liverpool fan but does anyone fancy Lukaku anytime at 3/1? We've struggled against any physical striker this year. Not sure if I'll back it as I don't like to see Liverpool conceding but based on benteke and smiths performances against us it's definately a worthwhile bet.

Pretty easy winner this if anyone got on. I did but had him in a losing double. Fairly typical

SJ has the booking points @46 13/10.

Celtics 10 games have an avg of 5. Juve's 6 games avg 36 points.

The ref in his last 8 games has covered it 7 times.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,937 ✭✭✭Radonman

Am I the only one who's thinking Juve @ 13-10(-1) corner handicap is seriously tempting, Juve are the corner kings in the Italian league and one would assume they will dominate possession stats - um at work so no real research done yet but thinking of (-2) also

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,351 ✭✭✭magherakid

    Celtic v Juventus
Celtic and Juventus have met four times in the past, each of their encounters ending in a home win.
No Italian club has won at Celtic Park in the Champions League (two defeats, two draws).

    Looking at BTTS 1/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,015 ✭✭✭Kevwoody

Following on from last nights jammy win :)

Celtic and Man Utd double @ 22.7 !

Combination of enhanced power play on pp and straight double.

    €55 on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,377 ✭✭✭Smithwicks Man

    Double for tonight

Cork City DNB 4/6 (Based on the above with a bit of research - nice post magherakid!)
Liverpool vs West Brom Over 9.5 corners 1/4

Double comes in at 2.08 on StanJames. Small-Medium Stake

    Happy again :D

As for tonight I think in=play is the best shout for me. Gonna wait and see how things start of in the Celtic-Juve match and then look at the corner market from there.

Might also take bookings on SJ at over 46 points as posted above

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,303 ✭✭✭Lasagna Diarra

The bookies seem to think the Valencia vs PSG game will go over 2.5... strange cuz it looked like a clear underish game to me, and now the odds on under 2.5 have risen. They're the same as in the Swansea vs QPR game where everyone was expecting an underish game.

So because of that I've gone for BTTS @ 1.70, seems a bit safer than over 2.5

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,707 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

What really stands out at me is celtic 0.0 card handicap bet. So celtic just have the get the most cards @13/10

With that card happy ref. I think it's a superb bet, thoughts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,862 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

Went through that guy's last 10 matches.

7x away team had more cards
3x HT, one of which was a friendly between Italy - France which had only 1 yellow (Balotelli) and i dont think you should count friendlies too much.

Now my 1st thought would be Celtic to get more cards than Juve, no doubt. But it is not that Juve cant pick up cards if they get frustrated.

I mean, would you have thought Pirlo picked up 6 yellows already in the Serie A this year? Then there is Vidal and Bonucci with 7 and 8

Would like to see the stats, but I'd imagine a team that will the corner match bet are not the type of team that will win the card match bet too, or vice versa

A few more about that Celtic - Juve ref:

    Games on database
    Fouls Cards Pen Atte
    Matchday 8 --- 8 game(s) w/o ref
12-Feb-13 Champions First Knockout Round - M.7 Celtic - Juventus

    ?
    04-Dec-12 Champions Group B - M.6 OSFP 2:1 Arsenal 34 5
    28128
    Matchday 5
    06-Nov-12 Champions Group A - M.4 Dynamo 0:0 Porto 35 3
    34386
    Matchday 3
    02-Oct-12 Champions Group H - M.2 Cluj 1:2 Man Utd 20 1
    16259
    Matchday 1

Formattign is rather crap. But the bold numbers are the cards he gave out in this seasons CL. 9 in 3 matches puts a different light on him compared to the matches in La Liga

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Lennonist

I got 4to1 for Celtic to win with Boyles this morning, couldn't resist that. Bit of a gamble but good odds given Celtic's track record at home in the CL.

Celtic have only won the corner match bet in 1 of their 6 group games and that was against Spartak Moscow in the final group game where they were pushing for the win.

    Lost 10-3 away to Benfica.
    Lost 7-2 home to Barcelona.
    Lost 15-1 away to Barcelona.
Lost 9-5 away to Spartak Moscow.
Lost 10-9 at home to Benfica.

Juventus have won 4 of the corner match bets in their group, drawing with Chelsea away and losing to Shakhtar away.

I think the corners bet is good value, over 10 @ Evens, i'll definitely be having some of that...

Think i'll stay away from champions league. Yeovil look a good price 6/5 at home to out of form Preston http://int.soccerway.com/matches/2013/02/12/england/league-one/yeovil-town-fc/preston-north-end-fc/1294607/
Wycombe also look decent at home to Bradford 6/4 http://int.soccerway.com/matches/2013/02/12/england/league-one/yeovil-town-fc/preston-north-end-fc/1294607/

Gong to play it safe Yeovil 1/2 dnb and Wycombe dc 4/9
