Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Even though the ref should have blown up for a foul for that first goal, Arsenal still only have themselves to blame. They lost possession of the ball and Chelsea pounced on it. The foul had only occured after the ball was given away.

I'm glad that's over, second half was horrible to watch, until Ba came on at least then we had an outlet / someone to hit the ball forward too and be confident he can win the ball and hold it up a bit. credit to Arsenal they did play well in the second half.

Glad to get those 3 points in the bag.

Fantastic result there, Ramires was immense today as was Cole, the 2nd half we were under a lot of pressure, the players will take a lot of confidence from that game.

Never thought I'd say it but let's hope United win next.

Would you not want them to lose?? Surely you should be looking up rather than down.

It doesn't matter when it happened, it still happened, and Ramirez admitted to it in the post match interview. Chelsea won because the referee missed a blatant foul and gave a penalty for a dive. Simple as.

Big win for Chelsea , nervy second half .

Ref had a poor game , Oscar clear penalty in the 2nd minute , remeries foul for the Chelsea goal and arsenal keeper had to be sent off when he brought down rameires

He didn't bring him down it was a dive ;), neither Chelsea goal should have stood.

Still doesn't excuse Arsenal's first half performance though.

Thank christ!Torres still doesnt inspire confidence much like Benitez tactics?why bring Ba on for what..10 mins?

Get used to it I think, he is very stubborn. He won't react to crowd pressure. I agree with you though, Ba should have been seen around 60 mins.

Chelsea don't have a hope of winning the league, I rather Spurs loose so Chelsea will be comfortable in the CL qualifying position.

Oscar should of got a penalty in the 1st minute. The ref also missed that one.

I don't say this lightly because, IMO, Drogba is the greatest striker of his generation, but those last 10 minutes from Ba were nothing short of Drogba-like. Team with their backs to the wall, desperately needing an outball, Ba stepped up to the plate. Won throw ins, brought others into play, probably should have scored, an absolute handful. All round powerful cameo.

You still think it was a peno?. Think you need glasses ;).

It was a clever dive but a dive is a dive all day long.

The penalty was a dive by a cheat. Because of that I wouldnt give him MOTM

the penalty was a slip, the ref awarded the peno.

Oscar was fouled in the box in the 2nd min for what should have been a peno, but it was not awarded.

These things even themselves out over the course of a season. Ahem.

It was a clear dive, not a slip.

And no they don't even themselves out, the odds of that are actually completely ridiculous.
