Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Foul from Ivanovic? Not sure how Giroud is supposed to defend that.

And as I said, Chelsea play that high line, and they'll get roasted.

Lovely goal, have to laugh at people on here and twitter going to town on Walcott when he can turn it on like that!

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

He misses too many for first choice striker

Super Theo looking likely all day his runs behind are key to what we do here

What i'm saying is just because there's a player on the line doesn't make a difference in it being a red or not. He has a shot on goal from six yards which was denied him, a shot on goal which will more than not lead to a goal. If a goalkeeper is on the line and he's brought down, it's still a red because he's being denied a shot on goal with just the keeper the beat.

Whether the penalty should have been given is another thing altogether, but once it was awarded, it should have resulted in a red for the keeper.

He wouldn't have got to the ball first because of the path he took to "manufacture the contact".

    Anyway, come on the ****!

son of a bitch.... Never ever rely on this current Chelsea line up. What the hell was going on with leaving Torres on??? Bring on Ba at HT and things would have been stepped up. What a swizz. Need to settle it now, because this could turn worse than the Southampton game.

But because the definition of a clear goal scoring opportunity is subject to the whims of the ref on the day I can see why he only gave the yellow, the position of the defenders didn't make it a 100% clear imo. I will concede the ref might have just chickened out too of course.

It is if he told the defence to play that high line with players like Walcott, Giroud and Cazorla sniffing around.

I often wonder what Arsenal did to annoy referees. We get fcuk all decisions.

Arsenal not getting as many of the simple decisions off the ref as Chelsea seem to be

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,491 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

    Torres offers nothing.

He offers great footage to add Benny Hill music to
    And that's hardly nothing,
    Its comedy,

Wrong. He offers opposing teams hope!

It was torres. He lost it, went to his knees and moaned to the ref. Ball was in the net 10 seconds later.
