ps3 hard drive question

    ok so my ps3 fat has finally given up the ghost if i got another ps3 fat could i use my old hard drive in it or should i just get a slim with a bigger hard drive

    You can use your HD in your new PS3, however, HDs are "married" to each PS3. You would have to format any HD fitted to your PS3.

    My fat ps3's hd is now being used as an external hd, bought case in pc world.

    you wont be able to keep any of your saved data from your phat, and bring it in to your slim ps3. Unfortunatly it dont work like that how ever you get to play all the games all over again which is a pretty ok thing to have to do :)
