It's still dry here on the Mayo coast but the moon has clouded over. I'll be stunned if we have anything more than a dusting on the hills by morning.

Is that in Tralee town or hills outside the town?

Tralee town centre, being snowing all evening since 6pm.

It stopped around ten for an hour but snow has been falling since.

    Getting a bit lighter now.

Light flakes falling near Cork Airport

Raheen, Limerick. Not a flake. Not even frost or dew on the car. Looking our the window it could be a summer's morning just before dawn.

Had the lightest covering of snow overnight. A covering all it is. South mayo.

Looking on sat24.com looks like a low forming and coming south east from Iceland. There's a front heading in with it too. Wonder if this will bring the goods, but I fear if it comes during daylight, it will be too warm?

About 2-3cm of snow here - 5km east of Dingle - about 50m asl.
    Temp gauge says +1 degree.

Just started snowing moderately here 12km to the West of Cork City 30m ASL. Settling on cars but not the wet ground.

How heavy is it in Cork City? Was supposed to head down there from Dublin in about an hour, but might give it a miss if it's as heavy as here.

Snowing away gently now...not heavy and not sticking yet. But it only started a little while ago and has gotten a bit heavier since then.
