This is incredibly light on detail, but I am trying to recall the name of a book. I am quite light on detail but here it goes.

I would have been around 15 years ago I guess, I was in primary school. What I remember about it is that it had a failry detailed account of Christmas/preparing for christmas. It could have been from the point of view of a child. Preparing the christmas goose kind of thing. It may have been a book giving an account of growing up in Ireland or something along those lines.

It may have had green and orange on the cover.

Probably an impossible request but it's annoying me.

    Thanks

Sounds like Alice Taylor's The Night Before Christmas? I love this memoir. My granny passed it on to me years ago and said "this is what Christmas was when I was a child". It's such a lovely story and a real insight into a child's excitement about a Christmas that's so much different to Christmas nowadays.
