    Well, it's not a studio film as it was made outside of the studio system. However, I'd be hesitant to describe it as an indie film either since Sony subsequently picked it up and gave it a big distribution.

    Also, the indie category should actually read "American Indie / Arthouse" (I left out "arthouse" by mistake). It's really a category for less mainstream American films.
