Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How are you (and everyone reading this) able to fit in study midweek evenings? I just about finish the bare minimum for homework. And with grinds and an extra subject, all I want to do after homework is sleep!?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,827 ✭✭✭Prodigious

I'm lucky enough in that I don't get an awful lot of homework. If I was you, I'd review the homework you get and see if it benefits you enough to justify the time it takes. If not, don't do it.

    That's a fair point! I'll try that.
    Fair play by the way!

TO be honest there's not much that can be done for maths, only practice. I'd advise getting one or two grinds for the topics you're stuck on, and then just keep re doing exam papers. Good luck!

Basically just practicing exam papers. If I'm not writing, I'm not learning much. Depends on the subject.

I'm repeating the leaving externally this year and was wondering if anyone has any key points to consider for Theme/issue for the Comparative.
I've chosen to do How many miles to Babylon, Sive & I'm not scared, and my theme being Relationships. Or if anyone thinks I'd be better off doing a different theme to suit all 3 texts could you let me know. I did Babylon & I'm not scared last year under the theme Family Relationships, so thought doing Relationships this year would be a bit more dynamic but I'm not 100% yet. I have a C2 in English and am hoping to get a B3 this year so any hints/suggestions are much appreciated.
    Thanks

    http://www.thegatheringireland.com/Information/FAQs-Ceisteanna-Coitianta.aspx#.UZugJSvwL5g

My teacher wouldn't do the gathering with us since she doesn't think it would come up but we had turasoireacht and eisimirce done so we would have been able to write on it anyways,

but I basically got specific information about the gathering from this and made it into an essay about an tostal along with stuff about imirce, turasoireacht and a tiny bit of an culu eachtnamaiochta in it ,theres a FAQ through english and again through irish at the bottom. Hope this helps some bit :)
