Ayone currently nursing in Sydney?

    Hi All,

    Just wondering if there is anyone here nursing in Sydney or Australia.

    Has that market cooled down or istherre still jobs available?

    My wife is a Clinical Nurse manager and will be looking for work in Sydney when we arrive.
    If anyone has any nurs especific agaencies or advice much appreciated

    Theres loads of jobs, particularly for CNM's.

    indeed.com.au + seek.com.au are the main websites for health care
    Nascent/Hayes/Reed/YourWorldMedical are the main agencies.

    Tell her to check the main newspapers as well as the NSW government website- normally fulltime permanent jobs on this

    there are plenty of jobs in nursing still, but be prepared for a lot of paper work for her to get registered, if it all goes well for her it will at least take 6 months to get registered. you can start this from Ireland, but you must complete it in Australia which can add a few more weeks waiting time on.

    All above was my girlfriends experience, she got a job offer and 457 visa but still had to wait 4 weeks in oz before she could start.
