I like being able to light the fire, love the smell of wood or turf burning.

The missus gets mad at me if I light it during the summer. =(

My old car wouldn't start when it was cold and damp, but once it got frosty it would work first time, like that there's a lot to be said for a crisp morning with a clear blue sky and you know you aren't going to get wet today and warm clothes mean you're toasty.

What i like about the colder weather is all the electricity i need to use to get me by the dark evenings. Shower, lights, blanket, kettle, Tv dishwasher the list is endless. Not sure how they managed years ago.
