I am going to be looking for a few teachers in the next few weeks. What sites does anybody recommand to recruit on - jobs.ie, irishjobs.ie or some other sites?

linkedin is the new way to identify qualified prospective employees, but needs you to do the work and research!!

Cheers Peter. Actuelly got a mail back from education posts advising that it cost €150 to place an advertisement. I advised back back that it does not say that on the site (or not clearly anyway) so I will not be placing the ad.

You do realise that the other websites you mention will charge for an ad too?

No problem re that. As long as they are upfront about it which education posts were not (and i advised them of this) then i have no problems. I don't like hidden charges. I have also used gumtree and am getting plenty of qualified cvs thru this.
