Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's relative. Depends what you think is a good wage.

I currently earn* <13k per year so if you take that as average then an engineer should get a good wage ;) In 25 years we may well have all been sold to a nigerian prince by Enda looking for some easy money. If you want to be an electronic engineer then be one, don't let the money sway you either way.

    I hope so anyway.

What is the average graduate wage for an Electronic Engineer in Ireland today?

Are there as many jobs about as I am constantly told?

Well depends what level you are at, say a level 8 grad would start on around 30k in analog devices for example which is reasonable this was public knowledge which they told us at a careers fair. In smaller companies you could start on 24-28k depending on what the job is. And the top end would be 35k that i know of.

The midas ireland website is useful as it lists some of the companies out there and job postings too although rarely entry level positions :
