Converting a colour inkjet to b/w

    I have Ricoh inkjet. I'm happy with the speed and it's setup.

    I want to use it exclusively as an envelope printer.

    I can get refillable cartridges and a supply of gel ink.

    I'll be printing in black only so I don't see the need for the additional expense of buying the other 3 colours.

    If I fill all the cartridges with black ink only is there any reason why it wouldn't work?
