Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

converting images to size suitable for web

    hi all, have a batch of pics I want to convert to 400x600 to make them suitable for the web..any tools out there where I can do this in one go instead of each pic one by one?
    also the images I have are 8/9 MP - is this a suitable size to be blown up for a wall canvas?

    irfanview has a batch processing capability which includes (amongst other things) the ability to resize along various parameters. Its free for personal use.

    You can select all photos, right click and sent to. Then you can pick your size.
    Do you use any software currently- Picasa etc.
    With Picasa you can export/save as the photos and pick your size.
    Irfanview also does the job and many others.

    8/9MP is fine size for wall canvas.

    I use VSO Image Resizer. Very fast and easy to use. (And free!!)

    There's handy things called windows powertoys. They are extras that add into windows. You can just right click on a load of photos in my computer and click on resize, so handy!

    I got this working for Windows 7 but can't remember how, maybe an install in compatibility mode.
