    Hi,

Our group of 4 lads are looking for somewhere cheap(for drinking) and a bit warmer than Ireland for paddys weekend. Majorca is quite cheap that time but we're afraid that everywhere will be closed in March.

Anyone been to santa ponsa or magaluf at that time of year before???

    Thanks,

    Nathan

went to Majorca last april, there was great deals on all inclusive hotels and the weather was nice. it was too cold to swim at the beach and the outside pool was cold.the resorts where quite empty and lots of thing where closed. The main tourists were on bike tours.

I don't think there was much night-life outside the hotels tbh. but if you choose a large hotel or apartment block you should be ok.

also have a look at the canaries as they would have more open at this time

Yes, weather was decent but the pubs were ****e. Tourist trap central on paddys day.

Flights and accommodation are very cheap around then alright. In fairness though most places in ireland are ****e on paddys day imo anyway.
