So I recently got a new xbox after endless saving but I was wondering, does the console need a special HDMI lead or is it a case I can go to the 2euro shop and buy those?

~Yeap the €2 one will do the trick flawlessly.... just remember to change your xbox settings to whatever your TV can handle (720 or 1080) :-)

Perfect thanks, the tv is HD so it should take 1080?

It depends on the TV. Some of the older sets sold as "HD Ready" are 720p/1080i only. What's the make/model number?
