Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He didn't kick the kid. He kicked the ball.

He kicked the kid. Espn ( am watching abroad) just showed a closeup...kicked the kid , accidentally i dont know, but he kicked him. You cant do that, simple as.

Red will 100% stand, i doubt they will appeal.

That kid will have his big interview on sky sports news tomorrow

Chelsea players to wear 'Justice for Hazard' tshirts in their next match.

A couple of scouts will be on the blower to that kid's parents now. He has a bright future with diving skills like that.

You know when commentators say 'yeah, but can he do it on a cold Tuesday in January against stoke'

Us Chelsea fans have our answer - they can't.
(I know it's Wednesday and Swansea)

That was outrageous, Hazard just wanted to get the game restarted and tried to kick the ball out from under him.

Could say that about any tackle tbh. Intent or not, Hazard booted him in the ribs. A kick out on the field at another player is a bookable offence. Doing it to a teen off the field is another matter.

what a joke of a red card..the kid deserved more than what he got..

It was childish behaviour from the 10 year old ball boy.
Hazard lashed out at a child, a red card should be the least of his worries. You need to be dispassionate with this situation, yeah your football team have missed out on a cup final but it doesn't excuse a grown man who is paid a handsome sum of money to play football lashing out at a child even if the child has made a meal of it.

    Glazers Out!

I love this, doesn't affect any team I like much and even though I disagree entirely with the red I just can't stop laughing at the situation.

If Suarez had kicked the kid the internet would have gone into melt down :D

    Stupid by Hazard.

He was the one that kicked the lad even though the boy over reacted.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,852 ✭✭✭homer simpson

Hazard is a grown man launching a kick at a lad on the ground, it's pretty disgraceful!

All I can do is laugh at some of the comments in here, he didn't launch a kick at him or lace one into him as another poster incinuiated he attempted to kick the ball from under the ball boy, stupidly, who shouldn't have even been where he was in the first place.

It didn't fly out because he was lying on it, if he kicked him in the ribs the ball would not have moved.

So he just kicked the ball, and didnt kick the kid at all? He definitely caught the kid with the kick, hit the ball too but an idiot for doing the kick in the first place.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,661 ✭✭✭Fuhrer

Kicked the ball under the lad , hows the view up there on your high horse ?

I can only imagine the low, repulsive things you do if you consider looking down on kicking kids as being on a high horse...

In fairness, there was no real threat of Chelsea winning this, let alone scoring 2 goals.

thats def one of the worst decisions i have ever seen..the ref should get a match ban for that decision

Kicking out is a red card offence no matter who it is against on the pitch or on the sidelines

    ******

Red card all day long, and should be given an extended ban with it.

Exactly. As stupid as the whole situation is I can't see how people don't agree with it being a red card.

Hazard will probably get longer than a 3 game ban by the FA (no chance it gets rescinded). The ball boy was being a total twat though and deserved a dig, tbh.

players been blamed these days for not caring, there was nothing wrong with that young lad, it might toughen him up a bit..harmless kick by hazard, barely touched the young lad, get a harder slap in the school yard..joke red card
