The camera mount is very annoying for using it on a desk. Everytime a notification appears at the top of the screen, click it to view, and the phone rocks on the camera mount.

    You have experienced this yourself?

Ye, today was the first time I have using I for long periods at a desk for messages. Before that I was picking it up so wasn't as noticeable. You can use your thumb to hold the bottom against the desk while using fingers to unlock to get away with it but 808 sits on the desk much better.

Holding it is similar, your fingers are on the mount rather than resting up to it like the 808. First thing I liked about the 808 when I held for the first was how it was to hold versus the N8

My current Sony decided this weekend to break itself. The only other phone I have in the house is an old iPhone 4S thats locked to a different network. Now I face the choice of either a) using a mostly broken phone for 2 weeks or b) having to switch networks or get the iPhone unlocked so I can use it...but only for 2 weeks.

My previously eager anticipation for the 1020 has now stepped up a notch...

This was very briefly on the o2.ie website, but seems to have disappeared again. Price was 639 for the 32gB model. So hopefully it'll be along soon, I have money I want to throw at them.

Id say it was taken down as the image they were showing for it was a Sony android phone, bunch of clowns.

Sad to see they are not offering the 64gb like other Telefonica companies.

The 1020 has an fm radio so that completely undermines the 'music' point.

And a comparison that doesnt take into account the camera, when thats the main USP of the 1020, seems a tad pointless....

    is a bit more indepth.

    Oof...pricey.

What's the likely lag time for 'to order'? 7 days till it's delivered? 5 days?
