Hi, I use a GSM modem every now and again for remote access to equipment where there is no Lan connection. I'm finding that when I next use the modem (maybe after a couple of months) that the sim has been cancelled due to not topping it up. Is there any of the providers who supply a Sim card that stays "alive" for a decent…

Hi,

I use a GSM modem every now and again for remote access to equipment where there is no Lan connection. I'm finding that when I next use the modem (maybe after a couple of months) that the sim has been cancelled due to not topping it up. Is there any of the providers who supply a Sim card that stays "alive" for a decent length of time even though its not topped up every month or two. Its very frustrating to find it disconnected when you attempt to use it.

One transaction from the sim once every 6 months will keep the account active.
